We're excited to announce that Associate and HTS Timber Lead Kelly Harrison has been appointed to the TRADA Board. TRADA (The Timber Research and Development Association) is an international membership organisation dedicated to inspiring and informing best practice design, specification and use of wood in the built environment.
Kelly said: ‘I’m delighted to join the TRADA board, having thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Advisory Committee. I lead HTS’s Timber Focus Group where we discuss design issues, develop ideas and research solutions. I am passionate about sharing our aspirations and look forward to continuing this and championing the use of engineered timber across the wider industry in my new role.’
Alongside her role with TRADA, Kelly regularly delivers CPDs, external talks and lectures within the UK and internationally on the use of engineered timber and is also a member of the CLT hub and MMMC.
