Mark, Tom and Andy recently returned from a successful trip to the BCO Conference 2018 in Berlin.
The speakers at this year’s BCO conference focused on contemporary issues and debates, such as diversity in the workplace, Brexit in a global context and blending technology with the built environment.
The talks were followed by various tours around Berlin, highlighting the recent and continuing development of this diverse city. These included Mitte; considered the cultural and commercial centre of the city. The transformed factory and Brewery sites of Prenzlauer Berg into modern, functional office spaces. And Europacity and Humboldt Hafen; one of the largest current master planning projects in Berlin.
The trip also gave a great opportunity to visit buildings including The Neues Museum and The Jewish Museum.
