Alongside CIRIA we are pleased to announce our involvement in the research and development of blue roof guidance.
Blue roofs manage and attenuate rainfall at its source. They are slowly becoming a recognised SuDs component, particularly in dense urban environments where space is at a premium. The guidance will provide confidence to those that plan, design, construct, manage, and approve blue roofs.

The HTS civils team is currently working on a series of projects which utilise blue roof strategies. These include our Cotton Quay project with Studio Egret West which integrates a series of innovative SuDs elements and the historic Grade II listed Hornsey Town Hall with Make Architects.
