Today, a team of riders from 10 architectural and property companies are embarking on a two stage cycle ride to Amsterdam to attend the World Architecture Festival (WAF).
The riders will leave from our office in London and cycle the 136km to Harwich to catch the overnight ferry to the Hook of Holland port. Due to work commitments only 6 riders can cycle the full distance and undertake the final 90km stage of the ride to Amsterdam. Arriving in to port in the early hours of Wednesday morning the team will head along the coast before cutting inland to Amsterdam arriving just before midday, in time for the afternoon sessions at the WAF conference.
Taking just under 9 hours in total and covering 226km the team are all riding enthusiasts who love a challenge, but this year also wanted to highlight the issue of climate change and reducing our carbon emissions both personally and professionally.
