We had a great afternoon at Battersea Arts Centre giving a small group of architects and clients a tour around the award-winning building.
The event began with a talk by Tom Watson, our Director and Martin Lydon, Haworth Tompkins about the history of the building, the terrible fire that destroyed the Grand Hall and the process to design and rebuild the stunning space. This was followed by a tour of the Arts Centre which finished in the Grand Hall Bar where artist Jake Tilson gave a great talk about the pieces he recovered from the fire to create his ‘Phoenix Finds’ installation.
