We are delighted to announce that HTS has been shortlisted for two New Civil Engineer Awards, Companies of the Year 2020. The NCE Awards is New Civil Engineer’s annual awards recognising and celebrating innovative pactices operating in civil engineering.
In recognition of our ongoing sustainable strategies, we have been shortlisted in the Excellence in Carbon Reduction category. As a practice we are hugely aware of the impact of our design decisions on the environment and we are committed to lowering this. As part of HTS +, we have developed the ‘HTS Carbon Counter’ which allows us to analyse the embodied carbon of each project and compare the carbon cost of different materials and design options.
We have also been shortlisted in the Leader in Corporate Social Responsibility category for our commitment to supporting STEM education in schools, delivering social value projects and our approach to collaboration across the industry. We are active members of the Engineers Declare initiative and we are New London Architecture Net Zero Programme Champions, both of which enable us to shape conversation about creating a low carbon future for London.
