Heyne Tillett Steel are excited to share the masterplanning vision for the new university in Milton Keynes.
We were part of a team led by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands, which also included Architecture 00 and Bradley-Hole Schoenaich Landscape Architects.
As our team's bid opening statement says, '"MK:U is a unique opportunity to build a new community for young people, delivering academic subjects that are still in their youth themselves. We want to harness this positive, progressive, experimental energy to activate and electrify the whole of Milton Keynes. More than just a university campus, MK:U will be a new creative quarter that is walkable, diverse and open to everyone."
The competition has generated incredible entries from the 5 shortlisted teams. We cannot wait for our turn in front of the judges!
