On site: Eccleston Place

Structural works are progressing well on site at 27 Eccleston Place. With the enabling works and strip out completed, we are now underpinning and installing foundations and temporary works.

Located in the Grosvenor Estate in Belgravia, the historic structure dates back to the 19th century and has previously been in use as an ice production facility, an electrical substation and finally a vehicle workshop. Comprising a steel, cast iron and loadbearing masonry structure, the existing building is being sensitively renovated and restored with additional steel-framed floors added for commercial and retail use. The new roof will feature an expressed sawtooth structure, creating a pitched external roof form to complement the surrounding cityscape.
