Planning permission granted for 270,000 sq ft Mayfair scheme

We are pleased to announce that planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of 50 Berkeley Street and 50 Stratton Street. Together the two buildings form a large site between Green Park Station and Berkeley Square and will provide 270,000 sq ft high-quality office space as well as retail opportunities at ground level.

Designed with Stiff + Trevillion for Astrea Asset Management, both buildings will undergo a series of sensitive refurbishments and structural upgrades. At 50 Berkeley Street, the existing mansard roof is to be demolished and replaced with large, open floorplates, while the building’s existing lightwells are being infilled and will feature a series of stepped terraces and green planted areas.

At 50 Stratton, a similar design approach will see the mansard roof replaced with a new four-story CLT and steel extension as well as recoring and infilling the building’s floor plates to provide increased office and retail space.

Construction is expected to commence in Summer 2022.
