Work is progressing well on site at 82 West India Dock Road with the jump core currently underway. Located adjacent to the Westferry DLR station and in close proximity to Canary Wharf, the new 30-storey mixed-use development will comprise private and affordable homes as well as hotel use.
HTS carried out Stage 4 and 5 designs on behalf of the main contractor including optimising the original design proposed by the client team. The building is traditional RC frame construction with RC flat slabs, supported by a piled raft foundation below new basement level.
