Our basement project at 30 Mount Row is progressing well. The piling is all finished, the first stage of excavation is now complete and the temporary works installation is ongoing.
This is an challenging scheme with an acoustically isolated part two-storey, part single-storey basement structure. The ground floor and first basement level will be gallery space, with demanding acoustic requirements, despite close proximity to a Jubilee line tube tunnel. Multi-stage reinforced concrete underpins form the majority of the perimeter outer basement structure.
Looking ahead we are going to see the installation of the single-storey rear foundation slab in the coming month or two and continuing excavation of the front of the site down to formation level.
