Construction is nearly complete on site at Tamesis 1. The project comprises the demolition of the existing ‘Tamesis 1’ office building and the redevelopment of the site to provide a new 100,000 sq ft, five-storey European HQ for a leading multi-national technology company.
The scheme includes a three-storey car park structure to the rear of the main building and new landscaping across the site. The site has historic flooding issues which have been a key consideration in the design of the new development and a comprehensive sustainable urban drainage system is being incorporated in the works. The proposed structure is a steel frame with concrete floors cast on profiled steel decking.
