We are delighted to announce that approval has been granted by London Borough of Wandsworth’s Planning Applications Committee for Winstanley Block 1 and 5 to bring 2,550 new homes alongside a range of community facilities at Winstanley and York Road Estate.
The proposals, submitted by Winstanley & York Road Regeneration LLP, a Joint Venture between Taylor Wimpey Central London and Wandsworth Borough Council, include 35% affordable homes.
Block 1 is the largest and tallest block within the Winstanley masterplan submitted as part of the detailed element of the hybrid application. This £150 Million mixed use urban block, designed by HTA and LA Architects, provides a new leisure and community facility. The block will also deliver new commercial spaces suitable for retail and office spaces.
HTS are designing towards the tender stage on Block 1 with Broadway Malyan and LA Architects, and we are excited to see construction start on site.
