Andrew Elder

Andrew has over 7 years experience within the construction industry working on large and small scale projects within office, residential, education and hotel sectors. He has a full spectrum of design experience from scheme and pre planning through to on site delivery.

After graduating from University in 2010, Andrew joined Capita Symonds and subsequently AKTII where he stayed for 3 years. Whilst at AKTII, Andrew was responsible for the design of both new and refurbished office and residential commercial developments. Projects include 1A Page Street, Westminster with PLP Architects and Derwent London – a £25M office refurbishment involving adding an extra storey to the roof and a 9 storey cantilevered side extension – South Bank Tower, Southwark with KPF Architects and CIT– a 185M refurbishment of an existing 1970s 30 storey office involving adding 11 new storeys to create luxury residential apartments. New build projects include £50M+ speculative office developments, B5 and R7 within the Kings Cross development area, Camden with Eric Parry Architects and Argent.

Since joining Heyne Tillett Steel in 2014, Andrew has worked on several extensive refurbishments of existing listed buildings often involving new basement structures along with new high and medium rise residential buildings including the development of Blackwall Reach Phase 2.
