Andrew is a design-focused engineer who enjoys finding simple, intelligent solutions to structural problems. He uses sketching to inspire his design ideas and effectively communicate thought processes. He passionately believes close collaboration across design disciplines is the key to achieving engineering excellence on projects.

Andrew graduated in 2008 and joined Elliott Wood Partnership, where he worked on a wide range of projects from award winning Public Health and educational schemes to bespoke new build houses and sensitive alterations to Grade I and II* listed buildings.

He joined Heyne Tillett Steel in 2015, following two years in Lebanon and Iraq working as a Shelter Project Manager for the international NGO, Medair. Andrew was made an Associate in 2016.

Andrew is currently working on 60 London Wall, a £130m heavy refurbishment scheme for an existing 1990’s steel frame commercial building with EPR Architects, and a new contemporary Glulam/CLT pavilion at Herne Hill Velodrome with Hopkins Architects.
