Andy leads the Geotechnical Engineering team HTS which streamlines in-house problem solving and provides further efficiencies at each stage of the design process. Andy is a Chartered Geologist, a Fellow of the Geological Society and sits on the UK Register of Ground Engineering Professionals.

With 18 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, Andy has worked on a wide variety of major projects across the UK and internationally, including high-rise commercial developments, remedial slope stabilisation, water treatment plant investigations and foundation inspections. Andy has a wealth of experience in the application and interpretation of site investigations in the UK. In London in particular, he focuses on the growing importance of foundation reuse for both commercial and residential projects, often involving constrained sites.

Previously an Associate Director at RSK, Andy has worked with HTS for over 8 years on a large number of projects. As a consultant on 63 Coleman Street, Andy implemented a site investigation to characterize the site conditions, undertook a 3D FE analysis of the proposed rafted foundation solution and conducted asset assessments for nearby LUL and Thames Water infrastructure.
