Carmel has experience working on a wide range of development schemes across all sectors including schools, university and housing. Carmel’s project experience includes the detailed design of below ground drainage and external works, as well as highways works and transport planning for large developments across the UK. Carmel has extensive experience of liaising with highways authorities and TfL for highways improvement works to support developments which are expected to cause a strain on the surround highway network.
Before joining HTS Carmel worked at Price & Myers for four years where she worked on the civils design for numerous projects as well as guiding schemes through planning, taking responsibility for SUDS Strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and Transport Assessments. At Heyne Tillett Steel, Carmel’s recent work includes planning submissions for complex residential developments in areas at significant risk of flooding from rivers. She has also carried out the detailed design of highways for large residential developments working closely with landscape architects.
Carmel joined Heyne Tillett Steel in January 2018 and promoted to Associate in April 2019.
