James has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on a number of culturally significant projects and experienced the impact good design can have on a community. He enjoys the challenge of working with existing structures and appreciates the juxtaposition of new with old design. James is passionate about the creative elements of engineering and the benefit it can have on a project.
James began his career at Babtie after graduating from the University of Plymouth in 2002. He spent 5 years working for Meinhardt in their Melbourne office, completing the extension to Melbourne airports international terminal and returned to London in late 2010, joining Heyne Tillett Steel in 2011. James became chartered in 2012 and was promoted to Associate in 2013.
