1129 - Camden Town Hall Annexe

Camden, London

The new proposals include the extensive refurbishment of the existing building including re-coring and relocation of plant. The existing structure is an RC frame with a peculiar structural layout based on loadbearing pre-cast concrete facades supported by a deep cantilever platform slab at first floor level.

New floors and core extensions will be constructed as a steel frame supporting composite concrete-filled metal decking. Due to the nature of the existing structure, foundations and structural strengthening will be required throughout the building.
