Highland House is a stone-clad new-build private residence in Kent which uses large glazed openings to make use of the surrounding vistas.
The building comprises a braced steel frame superstructure over a concrete basement which extends into the natural clay strata below.
The basement will provide games room, gym, utilities and plant space. Each detail was co-ordinated with the architect with specific care and attention to ensure an elegant, minimal structure would be created that suited the need of the client for contemporary open-plan living.
