We are working with architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris on this new-build residential and commercial development near White City.
The project involves the demolition of the existing low-rise buildings and the construction of separate Residential and Commercial buildings of up to 5 storeys, with a single storey basement car park and plant room.
The buildings are situated directly above a large Thames Water storm water relief sewer. Various surveys and impact assessments have been carried out, and the basement construction and piled foundation layout have been carefully developed and set out to avoid the sewer.
Both buildings with be formed in reinforced concrete, and the Commercial building will feature exposed concrete slab soffits, columns and walls throughout. Incorporating cast-in service conduits and lift panels, we have worked closely with the architect to develop the concrete specification and achieve the desired aesthetic.
