1482 - The Queen's Club

London

HTS was the lead designer for the significant ground works project to enable the expansion of the AEGON Championships tennis tournament.

Two grass tennis courts and 4 artificial tennis courts were relocated to facilitate large new temporary stands to be erected around centre court, serving an additional 2000 spectators.

Improvements were also made to the gas, water, and foul services used during the tournament and the main carpark. A new entrance gate and security hut was also constructed to improve logistics during the tournament set-up and take-down. As lead designer, HTS managed the design team and led co-ordination of the project.
